Shopping for a Homecoming Dress.....

I spent 5 hours at the mall on Saturday with my beautiful daughter looking for a Homecoming Dress and thank goodness, we found one! I couldn't believe the prices of some of them! AHHHH.......we went with her friend and her Mother. It really was a lot of fun. She will be graduating before I know it, so I want every experience in High School to count. We ended up finding one at Macy's. It's lovely.........will show you later when she actually goes to Homecoming. You will just have to wait to see what it looks like and oh, I forgot.......I am the one that picked it out and she loved it.

Here Comes The Groom - 1951 Bing Crosby Jane Wyman

Johnny and I watched this movie this weekend. We both have been singing this song and can't get it out of our head. It was a wonderful movie!

Carol

We got a phone call about 4:00 in the morning Saturday that Carol had passed away. She was only 59 years old.

Princess Diana

Hard to believe that it has been 10 years since her death. I remember being in total shock when I heard the news that she had passed away.

Labor Day - 2007

Today we went to my Mom and Step Dad's home at Lake Livingston. We had a great time. The kids looked at my great grandmother's stereograph. My Mom thinks that it is from the early to middle 1800's. This is the original one with the original cards to look at. The kids really enjoyed looking at it. Then my Step Dad brought the little truck thing that he built from his shop. He built it from the ground up. He is so smart. He could build anything! He used a lawn mower engine. The kids got the biggest kick out of it. It was a great day!
