Easter

We had 3 services at church on Easter Sunday. I sang in all three services. What a blast! The music was awesome. I guess the kids never get too old for Easter baskets.

This was the first year we didn't do Easter baskets. My mom and Jeff's parents all got them candy. We had lots of expenses around that time, so just decided to not give them one. They didn't really miss it. I remember one year when the girls were 4 & 6 or 6 & 8, can't remember. Jeff wanted to put bandaids in their baskets because they liked putting on bandaids when they got a cut or something. We put bandaids in their baskets and they really didn't know what to think. They just stared at us. We also gave them candy, but they weren't sure what to do with the bandaids. They still talk about it to this day, and how weird it was that we stuck bandaids in their Easter baskets. We're such weird parents!

That's so funny! Ever seen the cartoon.....Fairly Odd Parents? Hee Hee......That's ok......I walk into Johnny's room every day and either sing..."Oh What A Beautiful Morning", or "It's a Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood" to wake him up.......hee hee

It's ok to be weird.........WE ARE FUN parents!!!
