My best friend from my childhood came here this week with her family. Jeanetta and I have been best friends since we were 4 years old in Albuquerque. We hadn't seen each other for 4 years, but it was as if no time had passed. She and her husband, Jeff and her daughter Tara came through here on their way back to Albuquerque from Florida. We played board games all day yesterday and then went to the Wunsche Bros Cafe last night for dinner. We knew the waiter and I begged him to take us upstairs. I had been wanting to go upstairs for years. The Wunsche Bros Cafe used to be a hotel/saloon back in the early 1900's. They don't let the public go up there. Rumor has it that it is haunted. He told us that the rocking chair moves on it's own sometimes. I don't believe in that, but it was really cool to see the old hotel rooms.
After dinner we went to Lazer Rage and played Laser Tag and a few games of pool.
It was such a great visit and I am so happy that they came through here.
