After the Quilt Show, Amy and I walked across the street to the brand new Discovery Green park. It is 12 acres and was absolutely wonderful. We watched a cool group dancing, watched people with frisbees, and listened to a fantastic jazz band! There was a little area for people with remote controlled sail boats! Then we watched kids play in the water.
Man, oh man, the quilt show and live jazz in one day! But the very best part of the day was spending quality time with my 16 year old!
